Semdial 2026 – LuffDial, the 30th Workshop on the Semantics and Pragmatics of Dialogue took place in Loughborough, UK from September 3–4, 2026 at Loughborough University.

Loughborough University is a hub for interactional research on dialogue, pragmatics, and language-in-use. LuffDial will be hosted by the Discourse And Rhetoric Group (DARG), founded in 1987 to promote interdisciplinary research in discourse analysis, applied conversation analysis, and discursive psychology.
